July 4th, and Jayden's birthday cont..

Because both of the boys birthdays fall on Holidays we have really tried hard to do something that celebrates both the holiday and thier birthdays. And for us we have found that the JW Marriott/Ritz Carlton in Orlando does just that. So it has become a Birthday tradition, we have went both years for Jayden and plan on carrying it on for Alex as long as they let us. The hotels do such a great job planning fun things to do. This year they had a petting zoo, snow cones, face painting, blow up jumpers/slides, games, BBQ's, and fireworks and more. We love going there with the boys the pools are great and it was a great way to spend holiday weekend.

everytime I see fireworks it brings me back to the memory of Geoffrey and I holding our new babies and watching the fireworks from our hospital windows..

This year we decided to have a horse party for Jayden, he was very excited and couldn't wait until the day of his party. The kids went swimming, had pony rides, and hit a pinata. Jayden is such a special little boy and I am reminded each and every day that he is a gift from our Heavenly Father. The best part of his party was when we sang Happy Birthday to him, he had a huge grin on his face and was so excited to blow out his candles it was just precious. Happy Birthday to you my sweet boy!! I LOVE YOU!

Slumber party with Macie

We have had so much fun these past couple days because Macie Kate came to spend the night with us!! It was her first time to sleep over and she did great!! Jayden,Macie, and even Alex had such a blast they went swimming and played on the slip n slide, ate lots of Dora's (aka popsicles), painted with pudding, played in the bath tub, and finally collapsed. They are such good friends and love having fun with each other, they have a language all their own and it is soo cute!! We can't wait to have her again, maybe next time Payton will come too!;)

I love going on vacation and I really like going to the beach so when Geoffrey came home and said that he just wanted to get away this weekend I was so excited and then when he said you pick where we go I was even more excited so I decided to try out a resort that I had been wanting to go for a while now its called South Seas in Captiva Island, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I am already planning our return trip!! The beach was beautiful and had some great shells, the ocean was so pretty you could see all the way to the bottom, the resort was great too there were something like 12 pools but we only used the main 3, Jayden's favorite was the one with the water slides and probably Geoffrey's too.;) It had a great little pizza place called scoops and slices that served pizza,ice cream, and was a huge candy shop too, it was a favorite among our family. I had so much fun being there with my family I love spending quality time with them. Jayden liked it so much there that he started swimming by himself in the lagoon pool. He would run into the pool and then belly flop and try to swim with his head under the water, I swear I think that he is part fish! Alex loved being in the sand and letting the waves crash on him he thought it was the coolest thing.

Today we went up to see Macie and Katelyn because Clifford was going to be at their library. Our kiddies were soo excited and couldn't wait for him to come out when he finally made his appearance we then had to wait in a really long line for them to meet him and get a picture with him..Our kids loved it they thought he was the coolest! After that we headed to Chuck e Cheese to eat pizza of course and play some games. It was a fun day

Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day Geoffrey!! We love you sooo much and hope that you had a special day! Thanks for all that you do and for being a great dad, husband, and friend. You are the coolest, sweetest, and bestest daddrey ever!!!

Geoffreys special day went something like this... donuts in the morning, presents (notice the tie above) then off to church, followed by a nap, and then a nice dinner.. I made filets, baked potato, mushrooms, ceasar salad, rolls, and followed up with a chocolate cake!! yummy yummy... Hope your day was everything you wanted and wished for!! I love you!

Today we headed up to Ocala to see Macie and Katelyn. We went swimming and played and ate ice cream treats. Everyone had a great time and Jayden was very excited because he was getting to spend the night at Macies house for the first time. He was so happy to be with Macie. He packed his backpack with his favorite things and I don't think he missed me that much at all. Aunt Katelyn kept them so busy with trips to the pet store, smoothies, dancing to wiggles, and long bike rides. He had such a blast my little independent man... He is already asking me to go back to Ocala, what can I say he loves his Macie!!
