Valentines

Its Valentines Day and we decided to make treats for our friends. We made a yummy white chocolate and peanut butter chex mix, Jayden did a great job adding the sprinkles and the m&m's.

A letter from Grandma

Today we checked the mailbox and look what was inside... a Valentine from Grandma and Pa pa!! Jayden loves checking the mailbox and gets so excited when there is something in there for him. He quickly ripped open the envelope and smiled when he saw the puppy on the card. He was even more excited when a gift card fell out of it!! What a great valentine!!

Today we took our family to the Central Florida Zoo. Jayden has really been into animals and loves to watch and pet just about any animal he can, so we decided that he would love to go. The Zoo was smaller than what I was thinking of but it was a beautiful day and the Zoo still had plenty of animals including elephants, leopards, kangaroos, cheetahs, monkeys, and they even had a petting zoo where he could feed the animals like goats, llamas, turkeys, and cows. He was so brave about touching all the hungry animals. He was even more brave than daddy and touched a massive iguana!! Yuck!!At the end of the day he even got to go with daddy on a train ride!!! Which he loved!! Geoffrey said that during the ride Jayden turned around and looked up at him and said with a big smile, "Choo Choo Daddy, Choo Choo!!" That sweet little moment just melted Geoffrey's heart and it showed in Geoffreys face.

The weather has been really cold lately and today is no exception I think that the high today is in 50's. I really am trying to keep Alex in but Jayden wants to be outside so I have been letting him play in his sandbox and in the backyard. I send him outside looking so ridiculous he has slippers on sometimes two hats and a bagging sweatshirt but at least he is warm.

Whistle while you work...

Jayden has started his chores well kind of... He has decided that he wanted to start taking over feeding Jake and I am all for it!! Mr. I will do it! I have to mention that Jake is all for this switch, it could be because he gets more food...

Today is Linda's Birthday !! We are all celebrating with her at Missy's House aka the Birthday Party House. We all ate pizza and had strawberry poke cake. Linda we love you so much and cannot tell you how much you bless the lives of our family. Happy Happy Birthday!

one month

1 month old!!

Alex is growing so fast the days just seems to come so quick. This morning was Alex's one month appointment with Dr. Madden. Alex is 9lbs 4oz now and is 21 3/4 in long. He is healthy and strong. He holds his head up so well and loves to look around. He is awake quite often and makes the cutest noises when he sleeps. He is almost sleeping through the night, he only wakes up twice to eat. He is smiling now but its much to quick for my camera to get it. He has many facial expressions and is so serious sometimes. He did very well at his appointment but after his shot he was fussy all day and night long even with the extra tylenol that I gave him, which is exactly how Jayden did too. I took both boys to this appointment by myself and did well even with the two blowouts from the boys. Jayden ended up in a Newborn size diaper which wasn't much of a diaper on him, think more like a speedo three sizes too small! And poor Alex left the office pretty much naked because his little outfit was a goner after his explosion! Oh well we will survive right?
