Cartoons and Cheetos

Today Jayden and I did something a little crazy and lazy and well just plain fun, we ate Cheetos and watched cartoons in bed (on my clean white sheets). Jayden was a little grumpy after he woke up from afternoon nap today and I thought I had just the remedy for a grump, and my medicine worked great, he thought it was so cool to eat in bed with me. I am not so sure that daddy would think this is so great since we were laying on his side of the bed;)(just a couple of orange hand prints..). While we were watching cartoons and snacking Jayden would lay his little head down on my shoulder and look at me (while he was stuffing in the Cheetos) as if to say,"Mom, your the best!" I just love these moments, this mess was definitely worth the clean up.. Besides, what fun is life if you can't be a little messy every now and then..

A golfer at heart...

I think that Jayden has really caught the spirit of the US Open and I just can't seem to get him to put that golf ball down he even takes it to nap with him...Maybe this is how Tiger Woods used to nap;). I guess we will see golf lessons in his future daddy would be so proud...

A whale vs. a minnow

While we were away in Cocoa this weekend we had to run to Walmart to get a few things and while cruising for a parking space we came across the most ironic spot in the whole lot. Wouldn't you know that we had to park next to a smart car?! I don't know if you have seen this car in person, I hadn't until now but it is not much bigger than a golf cart and it is supposed to be the "big" thing if you want to go green. Well next to my Whale of a car it is truly minuscule. I think that whole car is as big as mine is wide.. I don't know if these pictures actually do it justice and maybe its not even funny but to Geoffrey and I it was kinda humerous.

Today is Geoffrey's 24 Birthday!! We are celebrating by going to Cocoa Beach for the weekend. We are so excited to get away and have some family time. We had a blast playing in the sand, building sandcastles, splashing in the waves, and swimming in the pool.

Geoffrey, we love you so much you are truely a blessing to my and Jayden's life. We love you so much , Happy Birthday!

Sea World

Today Geoffrey took Friday off so we could have a family day, we decided to go to Sea World since Jayden loves the water so much. Jonathon, Missy, and Payton went with us and we really had a good time. Jayden loved it, he really got excited about the Shamu show, and about the walrus in the Arctic Exhibit, he stood at the glass just so excited it was priceless. I love my little adventurer!

Days of May

These days the family has been spending a lot of our time out on lake Gertrude in Mt.Dora. We play on the seadoo's, wake skate, go on the tube, and hang out on the beach. It is so fun and Jayden loves to play on lake. It is great exercise for us and a great way to spend those hot Florida days.
