Newlywed Nite Out

Tonight for our date night we went to the White's and played the not so newlywed game, it was hilarious and we had such a great time. Geoffrey and I took 2nd place and I think we could've won if Geoffrey really would of thought about some of the questions before he gave his answer!;) It's ok though that we didn't win we still got to participate in dressing the losers!! Sorry Shipleys;) (you guys did look great though!!) I love spending time with Geoffrey and I love those date nights that just the two of us get to spend some time together.

A Lunch Date

Today I invited my Grandparents over for a lunch date. Jayden and I really haven't been able to see them much because of my grandpa's chemotherapy apppointments , and my grandma is still recovering from her fractured hip. So I thought that we would catch up over lunch. I made chicken salad sandwiches, chips and dip, fresh fruit salad, and brownies. I set the table with festive ribbon and flowers and it really looked great! It was a great day spending time with them, it is so precious to watch the time that Jayden gets to play and spend time with his great grandparents. I love them so much and I am so blessed to have them here.

PaPa's new wheels

Pa Pa got some new wheels and the kids can't be happier. We stopped by to see Grandma today and she took Jayden and Payton on a ride in their new golf cart, fully equipped with seat belts and a cool horn!;) The cousins had a blast and thought thier Grandma was the coolest! They even made a pitstop during their ride to play at the park! Jayden and Payton will be begging for another ride soon, and there's just enough room to squeeze in one more so come on Macie!! Thanks for taking us for a spin, its just what Jayden needed after his trauma this morning!!

It's time for a trim...

Notice anything different about my little man? He got a new-do!! Yep its true, Jayden got his first haircut today at Capillos!! I couldn't believe how much hair came off his little head!! He did so great, for the most part he was still(but thats because he was working on unwrapping a lollipop, whatever works,right?!) I know he doesn't look the same without the baby Trump-do but it was time for a change. Thanks Alison for doing great job!! He looks stylin'!!

The Next Top Chef...

Jayden is discovering everything these days, he loves to play with everything and figure out how things work and what they do..His new favorite toys just happen to be my pots and pans and spoons, he will go in the cabinets and pull out all the pans and pots and bowls he can, he just loves to bang everything together... Maybe his love of cooking utensils will turn into a career as a chef, because this Wise family sure could use one ;)!

Picnic in the Park

Today we had a Ward Activity at Lake Idamere Park. It was a beautiful spring day(not too hot, not too cold) we ate some food, let the kids play, and hung out as a ward family. I love going to the park and I love being with my ward family, thanks to everyone who helped make this activity great!! You girls are the best!!

A trip to Atlanta

This past weekend we packed up the car and headed to Georgia for Geoffreys Cousin's Wedding. It was a pretty easy road trip the kids were perfect, they really made the ride up there pretty easy. The wedding was beautiful and newlyweds were so happy and in love. I love going to Atlanta, I love the city and the big buildings, the good restaraunts, and the great shopping doesn't hurt either. We had a great time and I think that more road trips will be in future for sure!!

A day at the Beach...

I love Florida weather!! And today we took full advantage of the sunny skies and headed off to the beach with Kate, Macie, Linda, Natalie, and Brianna. We all had a blast and enjoyed the beautiful day. Jayden loves the beach and water he has so much fun playing in the ocean. I can't to go back.
