Pre-K Graduation

I can't believe that its time for school to end. It has gone very fast and the kids have been so busy and loving every second of school.  Tonight we had Jayden and Alex's graduation ceremony. It was so cute to see them sing with their classes.

After  Graduation we went out for pizza to celebrate a job well done!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!  It's Daddy's birthday today and Geoffrey insisted on going to work. :( So with only a morning to celebrate, we made the best of it. We made birthday waffles complete with candles, and showered him with gifts and balloons. The boys did a great job of singing and loving on their birthday boy. Daddy we love you!! Have a great day!!!

A fishy treat

School days are quickly coming to an end and one of their last requests was to make a treat for their friends. So when their teachers had a sign up sheet to make a fishy treat, I leaped at the chance to let them cook up something special. After scouring pinterest for some under-the-sea snacks, and not finding anything great, I decided to let them make some cakes. They were more than excited to get to work.

just look at the concentration here... it's hard work decorating cakes...
Don't they look amazing!! What a treat! Good job boys!!

rainy day fun

There is a Hilary Weeks song that says, "...so I danced in the rain..." and today that's just what these 3 did. Instead of being stuck inside and dreaming of what they could be doing outside, I decided to let them run and play outside. The boys loved it! Sometimes a little raindrops make outside play a little more fun:)

Pirates Party

The end of the Pirate season is here and what better way to close out baseball then with a party!! As team mom, I decided the players needed a pizza party to celebrate all their hard work. The boys ate pizza, and cake, enjoyed each others company, and most importantly to them, got their trophies!! They all were so excited and proud to get a trophy.  I have not always loved being team mom (dealing with the parents can be tough sometimes) but I do love organizing things like this. Jayden has made some good friends this year and has really started to develop his baseball skills. Way to go Jayden!!

tight spaces

Whenever it's quiet around here, it usually means the kidlets are up to something. Today while I was getting things done I noticed it suddenly began to seem a little empty around the house. As I was looking around for the boys I heard some familiar noises from under the crib. These silly boys decided they needed a hideout to watch the I-pad. I don't even know how they even fit under there. They are just nuts.

8 is Great!!

8 years ago today the two of us became a family. Time really is flying by, sometimes it makes me sad to think how quickly it is moving. I still remember driving to the Temple that special day with Linda and neither one of us being able to talk to each other or even look at each other because we were struggling not to cry. I remember how happy I felt to be kneeling across from you that day. These 8 years we have been through so much together in these years. Our first couple of years together were fun, and for the most part carefree. (Geoffrey, you remember: Date nights whenever we wanted, lazy Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoon naps) Then 3 years and many prayers later we became a family of 3 as we welcomed baby Jayden. Year 4 we added one more to our family, the loudest and tannest ;) baby Alex. The 6th year we added our curly headed Landon monster  to our crew. And these last two years well, have been just crazy! But through all the chaos, smiles, toddler fits, and snuggles there is one thing that time hasn't changed, and that's how much I love you! Geoffrey you are my best friend, and my eternal companion I am so thankful for you! I am excited to see where the next years take us! I love you!! Happy 8th Anniversary!!
