our treasures we found

the tent used to keep him out of the sand.;)
I love going on vacation and I really like going to the beach so when Geoffrey came home and said that he just wanted to get away this weekend I was so excited and then when he said you pick where we go I was even more excited so I decided to try out a resort that I had been wanting to go for a while now its called South Seas in Captiva Island, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I am already planning our return trip!! The beach was beautiful and had some great shells, the ocean was so pretty you could see all the way to the bottom, the resort was great too there were something like 12 pools but we only used the main 3, Jayden's favorite was the one with the water slides and probably Geoffrey's too.;) It had a great little pizza place called scoops and slices that served pizza, ice cream, and was a huge candy shop too, it was a favorite among our family. I had so much fun being there with my family I love spending quality time with them. Jayden liked it so much there that he started swimming by himself in the lagoon pool. He would run into the pool and then belly flop and try to swim with his head under the water, I swear I think that he is part fish! Alex loved being in the sand and letting the waves crash on him he thought it was the coolest thing.

Jaydens trip to Ocala

On the way to the pool

The kids enjoying their treats by the pool on a very very hot day!!
Today we headed up to Ocala to see Macie and Katelyn. We went swimming and played and ate ice cream treats. Everyone had a great time and Jayden was very excited because he was getting to spend the night at Macies house for the first time. He was so happy to be with Macie. He packed his backpack with his favorite things and I don't think he missed me that much at all. Aunt Katelyn kept them so busy with trips to the pet store, smoothies, dancing to wiggles, and long bike rides. He had such a blast my little independent man... He is already asking me to go back to Ocala, what can I say he loves his Macie!!

Cookies with Grandma

Once a week my parents come over and watch the boys so that Geoffrey and I can have a date night. Sometimes they go to the park, take walks, and sometimes when we are lucky they make us treats. Tonight grandma and Jayden decorated bear cookies and look how cute they turned out!! I love that we are able to have a date night and I really love that they go out of their way to do special things with Jayden and Alex. Thanks for the treats, we love you!!

Growing up..

In a couple weeks I will have a Two year old!!! I can't believe it!! Where does the time go? Jayden is an amazing little boy, so full of life and so inquisitive and smart. He likes to do so many things like play horses, read books, blow bubbles, swim, play with his friends, eating popsicles, singing, and dancing. He loves going to church and nursery and usually by mid week he asking to go. He is a lover, a snuggler, and the best big brother. His personality is definately starting to take shape and he is becoming more sure of what he wants and when he wants it. He likes to run off and go the opposite way he is supposed to, he is becoming a struggle at bedtime and will sneak out of his room and hide, and though I know that these are just signs of becoming two I will not be sad to see them go.... However there are some things that I will miss when they are gone like; his big fat hands, his fat feet that only fit into stride rite XXW shoes!!, his ability to burst into a song for me, and burst out into the shimmie shake just because he wants too. I will miss how he calls Geoffrey "daddrey" a combination of daddy and Geoffrey. It's too cute! Hopefully his blonde hair and flakes of blue in eyes are here to stay, but if they go away this year I will miss them too.

his fat feet that I love!!

These big hands are so precious to me, I love holding these hands!

Our last day of vacation

The little dot in the sky is the space shuttle.

Unfortunately our time at the beach has come to an end. But on our last day Macie and Katelyn came up to see us and we had lots of fun. We played and played and ate pizza of course. Something cool we got to see was the space shuttle riding piggyback on the 747 in was really neat.
