egg tree

This year Jayden was pretty much running the show of our egg tree. He decided which egg goes into which color and what branch we should use and where to put the bugs. Alex wanted to help but I just can't trust him with that much food coloring yet;). I love this tradition its a great family project, and its my favorite decoration. Jayden is already asking me to make another one!

Mickeys Live Road Show

Today we are going to watch Mickey's Live Roadshow. It's our first Mommy and Jayden date! We had such a blast he was the best date. We ate popcorn and watched as Mickey and his friends found talent for their talent show. The highlight of the show was seeing Woody and Buzz!! We had great seats and were only like 4 rows away from the stage! During intermission Jayden picked out a Woody hat for Alex, a Buzz and Woody shirt for him, and a Buzz Lightyear. It was so much fun for me to be with Jayden, he is such a cool little boy. He is already asking me when we can go back!!

I wish I would have gotten his face when he saw Woody can lasso!!

A play day at Sea World

Now that we all have passes to Sea World we planned a play date. The kids all had a blast checking out the whales and dolphins. This is Jayden's favorite to be; he loves to watch and learn about the animals. He is constantly telling me how he wants to swim with Shamu and the dolphins. This day was extra special for Jayden and Alex because they got to feed the dolphins! Jayden watched the trainer carefully as he explained how to feed them and pet them. He was so brave to give them the fish all by himself. Alex took more of a bystander approach because mommy couldn't hold both kiddies and the stinky fish. After that we went by the sting rays where Jayden practically swims with them because he reaches in the tank so much. We had a great day and can't wait to go back with all of our friends, and yes Payton when you are 5 I will take you on the big roller coaster!! I promise!!

birds of a feather....

These boys sure are attached together, when one gets into trouble and has to go to timeout the other one follows suit. They are good and both wait until the timer goes off to get up but isn't timeout not supposed to be shared? I guess they are close for better or for worse.
