Twistee treat

Daddy has been working so hard lately that we decided to steal him for a little bit and take him to twistee treat his favorite place for ice cream. Geoffrey got a giant chocolate ice cream of course and ate it in like 2 minutes, and Jayden and I got vanilla with sprinkles. Jayden loves his ice cream and loves to make the mess that goes along with it. Ice cream yummy yummy!!

collecting eggs

This year for Easter we went to Linda's for a party on Saturday. We grilled out and had an Easter egg hunt which all the kids loved, and then they played in the water. On Sunday we woke up and opened up our baskets and then went to church and then had a nice dinner at our house. It was a great day and full of family time. But behind of all the egg hunts and baskets is the real message of Easter, I am so thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that he made for me, I am so grateful to know the because of him I am able to return to my Father in Heaven and that my family will be together forever. And that is a wonderful Easter message!

Our Egg Tree!!!

Every April Conference involves some of the same family traditions like eating donuts for breakfast (definately Daddy's favorite), and making our egg tree. This year I wasn't sure how it was going to go because Jayden has been so sick I didn't think that he would even want to help me but as soon as he saw the markers he was in to it. I love making our egg tree, in fact it is probably my favorite Easter Decoration. This year our tree is extra special because it has Jayden's first decorated eggs on it. He made some of the most beautiful eggs I have ever seen. :)

Pneumonia, Pink eye, Ear Infection OH MY!!!

His make shift bed on our floor, poor little guy...
So our healthy streak was more like flash it seems. Jayden is sick again and poor kid is miserable. I took him to the doctor and it turns out he has pneumonia, pink eye, and an ear infection. So they put him on antibiotics, and 3 breathing treatments a day, hopefully it will do the trick. So for now it is just plenty of snuggling and wiggle watching for us.

Look who is big enough for the bumbo seat!! Alex is growing up so fast he is already sitting up and hanging out like a big kid. I just love this little cutie

Alex 3 months

Well I just can't believe that Alex is already 3 months. He is growing so fast and changing every day. He is such sweet baby and is great piece of our family. He weighs about 13lbs and is 24 inches long, he is sleeping throught the night and is working on his nap schedule. He loves to play with his brother and loves to talk to him. Jayden is working on teaching Alex how to roll over and give high five's, which is very important for a 3 month old to learn. ;) Alex has a beautiful tan complexion and dark hair. He is quiet and reserved, he just loves to watch and take everything in. I know that he is a thinker and a listener like his daddy. Alex has the softest and most gentle eyes, when he looks at you, you know that he loves you and its almost like he can see into your soul. He is a happy baby and loves to be snuggled, he hates to be woken up and will scream until you can put him back to sleep. He loves to play with his toys, and listen to mommy sing songs to him and Jayden. He is so precious to me.
