working on our tans

The boys asked to go to the pool instead of the beach today and this is what they did... 

When I asked them what they were doing, they said they needed to work on their tans!! They are always making me smile.

5 year check up

Here he is.. my 5 year old! I can't believe it! He is quickly growing up and becoming too cool for my impromptu picture moments. He was so embarrassed that I wanted him to take a picture in the gown. He is just becoming a big kid too fast for me. Dr. Madden said he is growing great and is healthy, from his head to his toes. He is now a heavy 43lbs, and with the way he is eating that should increase quickly.:)

Baby Carter

We have a new cousin to love.... Baby Carter McGrath! He is here and is perfect! He is so cute and snuggly and these cousins just can't get enough of him! Welcome to the family baby Carter!! We love you!

Jayden's Dino-riffic party

My big boy is turning 5!! I can't believe that he is this old! This year he decided he wanted to have a dinosaur party. We had lots of treats,  a snowcone machine, a waterslide, lots of friends, and even more fun! 

This is the cake he had to have from publix. He was very excited to order his cake from the store. He even like placing all his dinosaurs all over the cake to make it look perfect.

late night baker

Sometimes when the boys are in bed I like to bake. There's something relaxing about making a delicious treat and not having 3 little hungry, messy, and loud boys climbing up the counters. But on occasion I have a late night baker sneak out of his bed and join me. Tonight baby Landon must of heard the mixer, because he came out of his room and ran into the kitchen with the largest smile. I thought of sending him back to bed but who wouldn't want this chef as a partner!

July 4th and Jayden's 5!!

It's Birthday Hotel time again! I can't believe another year has passed and its' time to be at the hotel celebrating another birthday/July 4th. This is something that Jayden looks forward to every year. He loves waking up to a decorated room with presents. I love seeing his birthday smiles! It's a perfect way to ring in July 4th. There's games to play, contests to win, places to swim, treats to eat, and fireworks to watch!

This guy is always up for a contest. Last year it was a pie eating contest and this year it was watermelon. He was very excited to join in the contest. He wasn't intimidated by the bigger kids, he tried so hard and did a great job! First Place!

Every year we bring a treat down by the lake and watch the fireworks while we sing Happy Birthday.

after the fireworks we came up to our room to find this! Jayden was very excited to see that the room service lady who we met last night left him this surprise! The cake was delicious!

We sang..again.. and then he made a wish...
