Baby ALex is Here!!

Alex Daniel Wise
proud daddy

7lbs 4oz 21 inches long

Baby Alex is finally here!! He is healthy and so precious and is doing great!! He is such a blessing to our family and he couldn't wait to get here... After a quick and fierce 5 hours of labor he arrived healthy and just perfect. It was definately a different labor and delivery experience than what I had with Jayden. It was much faster and a lot more painful....but it was all worth it...;)
will write more details later...

Amazing Wise Family Videos...

Tonight we discovered a new trick of Jaydens and after playing it back we realized that we had a never before seen blooper that is worth sharing...Enjoy the show.....

Geoffrey is working with Jayden on counting and it is really going pretty well. Jayden has realized what numbers come next so instead of repeating the numbers you say he will say the one that comes next, and that is where the magic of the trick is...

***I must caution you that this video is a little long but the ending is where the blooper occurs. And NO Wise Family member was seriously hurt in the filming of this video, it only looks and sounds like it;).(thankfully everyone was just scared and no real Boo Boos occured) It is amazing what you can catch on film though;)

Must be Santa...

I saw Jayden kissing Santa Claus...
listening to Santa

I love these hands pictures, so precious

Today we took Jayden to see Santa Claus at the Mall at Millenia. The line was not too long and he did great waiting the 30 minutes to see Santa. He was so distracted by all of the other decorations leading up to Santa that he was pretty good and quiet in line. He was so excited to see Santa and sit on his lap that he could barely stand the wait when he was next in line. He didn't even cry once he was just such a big boy. I love the picture of him looking in Santas eyes because I have one from last year and Jayden's expression is the exact same. I love these memories and look forward to having so many more. And next year there will be 2 little boys on Santas knees.

maternity pictures

tonight while we were getting our family pictures done I had Katelyn shoot a couple of maternity pictures for us. I just love being pregnant and enjoy everything about it and love my big belly that never stops growing. I am so excited to welcome baby Alex to our family and can't wait until I can hold him in my arms. I am 36 weeks pregnant and am set to be induced on January 9, 2009; which means I have about 3 more weeks left to go...This pregnancy has just flown by and now that the Holidays are here the time will really move quickly. Alex, I love you and we can't wait to meet you. We love you and know that you are truly a blessing to our lives.

family pictures

Tonight for FHE we went to take some new family pictures. Katelyn did a great job and its not easy to do with Jayden these days, he is such a mover all the time. We didn't have much time to shoot before the sun went down but I think that we got some great new pics. Thanks Katelyn for taking the pictures.

hats

This is my little hat head. He found this ear warmer and just had to wear it all day! He thought that it was the coolest thing he had ever seen. It was pretty hilarious watching him strut around the house in this outfit.

Beach

This weekend we headed off as a family to Cocoa Beach to stay at the condo. It was fun being able to relax and just enjoy the time as a family. The weather was a little cold so we only made it out to the beach the last day but it was worth the wait. Jayden is so much fun and loves to play in the sand. I love our little family and look forward to many more trips to the beach.

A cool cut

the new do!!
Jayden looking a little unsure of his haircut

a little scared of the scissors so close to him

Jayden watching Thomas the Train

what we started with...

Tonight I took Jayden to get his hair cut at Cool Cuts 4 Kids. It went great, this place totally rocks!! He loved it and thought it was the coolest place. He got to sit in Red Fire truck and watch Thomas the Train while he was getting a new do. The whole time he kept making faces as if it was hurting him, it was pretty funny. He just sat there being so still, and once he got a hold of the spray bottle he had even more fun. He would spray me, himself, and the hairdresser, which he thought was hilarious. He is growing up so fast and with his new cut he looks even older. I wish that he would just slow down and stay little for a while longer.

It was so much fun to hang out and see all of our friends from High School. They haven't changed very much since then and still can make us laugh for hours. we have so many memories with them and just love them all so much.

happy halloween

This was Jayden's second Halloween and I think that he really enjoys this Holiday. He loves all of the pumpkins and the decorations, the candy, and his costume. He did so well wearing his costume he didn't even mind the headpiece. This year we went and stopped by Grammie Konnie and Grampy Ricky's house just to show off the duck, and then we headed to my dad's house to get in some trick or treating. Jayden was so fun and I can't wait till next year, to do it all over again. I think that he has made this one of my favorite holidays.

pumpkin carving

Tonight we carved our pumpkin, nothing like waiting until the last minute.. Daddy was in charge of this messy process, Jayden didn't really enjoy it that much, he thought it was gross and only put his hand inside the pumpkin once and that was enough for him. Daddy did a good job designing the face of our pumpkin and drawing it out. After we had carved our pumpkin I baked the pumpkin seeds and they were definately a yummy treat!
