15 weeks

It's a bump for me. Its amazing how much earlier your body starts changing when you are pregnant the next time around. I took this picture at 15 weeks or earlier and I have more of a bump than I did at 5 months last time... I just love being pregnant and watching my belly grow, and I can't wait to see what this baby is maybe another boy or a little girlie girl.. 3 more weeks to go and then we will see..Geoffrey and I are so excited and know that this little baby is truly a blessing from our Heavenly Father.

dinner favorite

Tonight I made stuffed bell peppers for dinner and I had no idea that my little man would love them so much. He ate so much tonight he kept whining for more. I am not a real fan of cooking mainly because it requires you to go to the grocery store but when I saw my little man like this who can resist making dinner? And for desert cool whip and strawberries, which were also a hit. Lets just say we hit the showers as soon as dinner was over.

passy please..

I just love this picture!! I love that my big boy who never wanted a passy when he was screaming his head off as an infant, suddenly finds one in his room and has to have it for nap time today. He has never been a fan of the passy but sometimes when he finds one or steals one from his cousins he thinks its the coolest thing. I know that if he starts the habit now it will be a hard one to break later but I have to admit I love seeing him with the passy because it makes him look so little to me, instead of my crazy all over the place big boy!

Cocoa Beach

Jayden and Payton walking each other.....

playing in the sand together
This week Missy, Payton, Jayden, and I met Linda, Natalie, and Brianna down at Cocoa Beach for a night and we had a blast! The kids had so much fun playing in the sand with each other and really enjoyed walking each other around the condo. It was a short trip but a fun one, and full of surprises. I never thought that I would be one of those parents who attach a backpack with a leash to their kids... I hated the idea and thought that it was really kind of silly looking but.... after Jayden saw Payton with hers on at the mall he just had to have one, he wanted to be walking around the mall just like her. So off to Target we went and bought one and he picked out the bear and he seems to like it. so never say never!

Grandpa Stephan

Jayden and his Great Grandpa Stephan

A 4 generation family-Grandpa, Dad, Me, Jayden

Jayden's Birthday- Geoffrey, Grandpa, Grandma, Jayden and Me
Wednesday night my dear Grandpa Stephan passed away in the Gainsville VA Hospital. He passed away after fighting colon cancer for 1 1/2 years. He fought hard and long to stay as long as he could here on earth with his family. He was a Husband to a sweet Grandma of 53 years, a Father of 5, a Grandpa to 12, and a Great Grandpa to 1 (almost 2, which he was thrilled about). He was a singer, a piano player, a gardener, a talker, a good bear hugger, and one who loved to be with his family. I have so many great memories that have him in them, so many of them include him trying to get me to eat vegetables any kind and every kind, plates and plates of vegetables;). When I was little he would sing to me and play piano for me all the time. While he was going through his treatment I would often make the drive with him to Gainsville VA Hospital, I am glad that I was able to make those trips and spend those hours talking to him and creating a special bond with him that was just ours. I am so thankful that I was able to grow up with a Grandpa who loved me and my family so much. I am thankful that he was able to meet Jayden and spend his first year with him. The memories they created together were just priceless to me. Grandpa- you will be missed and I know that we will be a forever family, we love you so much.

the birthday weekend continues...

Saturday we decided to head on over to Orlando to spend the night to have some more birthday/ 4th of july fun. We had so much fun at the hotel, they had BBQ's poolside, music, snow cones, dip n dots, and fireworks. We floated around the lazy river a bit and played at the playground, ate chocolate cake while we watched the fireworks, and ate lots of good food. It was such a fun time I think that we are going to make it a tradition to stay there every year.

Happy Birthday Jayden!!!

Today is your first birthday and we can't believe that it is already here! It seems like just the other day we were bringing you home from the hospital... But today you are ONE!! and its time to party!

Today you woke up to find a balloon and presents just for you in our room. You were very excited and carried the balloon around all morning:). You loved your golf clubs and played a quick round with your dad.

Then it was off to your party!! We had your party at the lake house and invited lots of friends and family to help celebrate your birthday. We blew up pools in the backyard and had lots of yummy food. You had a blast playing with your friends. The cake didn't interest you that much you loved the frosting but hated the cake(spit it right out!) We ended the day watching fireworks downtown and you loved those. Jayden, we love you so much and love watching you grow into a big boy. You are so smart and beatiful and we are so blessed to have you in our family. We love you and Happy Birthday Jayden!!
