A New Baby to Love

Macie Kate is Here!! She arrived Monday at 6:29p.m. She is a healthy 7lbs 8oz and 21inches long. She has dark hair and long fingers and is just beautiful!! Katelyn, Michael and Macie are doing great. We are all so excited to have her here and can't wait to spend time with the new little family. We love you guys soo much!!

Purple Hand and an Ink pad

I have been wanting to get a Jayden's hand print but I just keep forgetting so, finally this week I did it and after 5 trys I finally got a decent one. The only problem is I think my ink might not have been the right one to use because it won't come off!! Oops! I have been scrubbing like crazy trying to get the ink off and well its a slow process...At least I got the hand print..

Go Gators...

Today was the gator game and it was a blast! Geoffrey, Jonathon, Missy, and I went together and we had a great time. It was a great date night, but I did miss my little gator at home. I love watching football and going to the game is always fun. We had good seats and the weather was cool so it was nice to be outside. After the game we stopped in Ocala and got the world's largest pizza ;) (well at least it seemed like it, it took up pretty much the whole backseat)..The best part about going to the game is that we WON! I said its great to be a Florida Gator!!

Yummy sweet potatoes

This thanksgiving we went to Linda's. It was great, we had a lot of good food and a lot of family there. It was especially nice because my dad,step mom, step brother, and great grandma were there. After dinner we made ginger bread houses to give out to people, and we did a grateful activity that involved everyone in the room. We all had to say what we were thankful for and what kind of service we were going to do this holiday season. There was really a sweet spirit that was felt there. Thanks Missy! Oh how I love the Holidays!! This was Jaydens first Thanksgiving and it was so much fun..I know that he loved it (or at least the sweet potato part) he just couldn't get enough! I know that there is not nearly enough room to list all of my blessings and for that I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father.

What's that? Do you hear the cheers of an elated mommy and daddy? Well if you listen close I bet you can hear it because he did it!!! He DRANK A BOTTLE!! Hooray Hooray!!!! For those of you that don't know it has been such a struggle for him to take a bottle, he has been fighting and fighting it and tonight he did it for the second time!

A Weekend Away

This weekend we decided to get away while we can, so we packed up the car and went to Orlando. I know I know Orlando is not really getting away but it sure makes for a fun trip. We stayed at the Omni in Champions Gate and loved it. The hotel is so nice and the weather was so beautiful. Saturday we went to Downtown Disney and walked around, then off to Universal to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe(for the best quesadillas ever!!), and then its time to shop... Jayden was great and didn't even fuss which is pretty unusual for him, I think he enjoyed all the different sights and sounds. Sunday we went to church (which was such a change because the ward was so small, maybe 50 chairs)and then we spent the rest of the day snuggling, going for walks, and just enjoying our family time. It was great!! Needless to say we are already planning our next weekend getaway!!
